As you can tell by the photos, today and yesterday, we spent at Arches National Park. We hiked the lower trails yesterday and by today we had gotten more adventurous, so we tackled some arches that were higher up on the mountains and on longer walks, in more remote locations. Kids brought their sand toys and played on the sandy trails, bigger kids brought climbing helmets & ropes and disappeared into the mazes. Older folks like us walked and scrambled and took each other's photos to show how much fun we were having. A great couple of days; we even enjoyed this morning's brief but intense rain-- everyone in Moab was so happy about the quick storm as it greened up the lawns, washed the car and made even more desert flowers bloom today.
3a. y ultima noche en Moab / Arches. Nuestras caminatas hoy fueron hermosas y agotadoras. El paisaje es bello. Llovio durante la manana y aplaco la arena y polvo que sopla el viento. Manana partimos para Page y Lago Powel. Vuelta al campamento. Continuara....
